Day 3 of Hooked on You Reveal!

Welcome to day 3 of the Hooked on You Stamp Set Reveal! July is almost here…and it seems like everyone is having a birthday! Well in case you haven’t noticed…this summery set is perfect for wishing your favorite fishy a wonderful day! Not only does this stamp set just make me smile…the sentiments just compliment it perfectly!

For this card I used some fabulous paper I picked up at Michael’s from We R Memory Keepers. My favorite thing about summer is all the bright and cheery colors that can be found just about everywhere. Who can have a bad day when you see a colorful combo like this?? I wanted to create the ocean blue background with some depth so I used the background stamp from the set with some Craft Ink to create the waves. And of course had to add the googly eyes to really make this card POP!

Make sure you check out Dawn’s blog for more sneak peaks…and check out the FABULOUS creation Maile did with this set! I feel so blessed to see all of your sweet comments and feedback on this release – it really has made a tough week so much better! Thank you again ladies and be sure to check back for the DT release day posts! I have one very “patriotic” card to show off using the other set for July.
