I decided to play along with Everything But the Kitchen Sink’s latest Challenge: Hair Accessories. I took a quick trip around my bathroom drawers and found an old hair pin with a gorgeous crystal flower. I’m pretty sure this hair pin has been used at more than one of my many bridesmaid appearances! (yes…always the bridesmaid…never the bride)
I was inspired by the “retro” feel of the simple hair embellishment and some of my October Afternoon “Thrift Shop” paper patterns. I stamped some washed flowers from Wplus9’s “Ever After” (on sale now!) to create even more of a vintage feel. What do you think?
I used some copics to create a vintage coloring (which was not easy since this paper loves to bleed outside the lines! but hey – it looks vintage right?) Make sure you check out the rest of the entries and play along! Such a fun challenge! Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
