I can’t believe it’s almost November…and if I have learned anything from the past couple of years…it’s going to be Christmas before we know it! So I have decided to get a jump start on my Holiday cards (and play along with some challenges this week!) This card was inspired by Everything but the Kitchen Sink’s latest sketch Challenge #25.
I was inspired by Courtney’s use of the fabric tape…and I have neglected to bust out the fab chocolate gingham one I purchased from her Practicing Creativity site. So that being said…added some red card stock from PTI, of course some Kraft, a little piece of designer paper – and I am totally digging this color combo for a Holiday card. It’s almost a bit vintage or something.
For the sentiment I used this fabulous Stampin Up rub on. I’m totally loving these rub-ons with Kraft paper! They just look so clean and vintage. Three lemon tart PTI buttons with some glue dots really bring the whole look together. I have to say this is one of my favorite cards in a while! Thanks ETBKS for the great inspiration!! Make sure you check out the rest of the DT’s projects & fabulous entries!
LOVE this…the colors, the patterns, the sentiment…everything! Thanks for playing with us EBTKS girls!
LOVE! The colors work great together! Thanks so much for joining us in the EBTKS challenge! 🙂
Love the "wet edges" on this card girl. You gotta show me how. ;o)
