Yay!! Welcome to day 2 of the Wplus9 Design November Release. Remember…all of the stamps are now available for purchase TODAY!! So go get stocked up!!
Ok so of course I’m super excited about this set…because not only did I get to illustrate it…Dawn is starting a “RetroGirly” line from my designs!!!! SO EXCITING – thank you SOOOO much Dawn for this fabulous opportunity!!
“RetroGirly Christmas” contains 5 high quality photo-polymer stamps; 2 images and 3 sentiments.
Feeling sassy? Celebrate the season the way all RetroGirly’s do. What better way to send your girlfriends some season’s greetings?
And such a steal at $6!!!
For my first card I wanted to create a whimsical winter shopping wonderland…
I started with a white card stock base and some Ocean Tides card stock from PTI. Scalloped punched the bottom edge and added some Stampin Up designer paper on top.

I stamped the main RetroGirly Christmas image on white card stock with some Chocolate Chip ink (SU) and used some Copic markers to color it in. I finished the look with a whimsical rhinestone piece I bought at Michael’s and this gorgeous ribbon from Stampin Up I got in a bargain bin at a Southern Women’s show – the colors just glam it up! I just love how fun and funky this card turned out!
For my second RetroGirly Christmas card I was inspired by some old Christmas paper I had lying around. The colors and style remind me of my favorite store for Christmas shopping…Target!

I used Aqua Mist card stock (PTI) for a base and did some paper piecing on the focal image. I just LOVE this sentiment – so fun! Finished off the edges with some Stampin Up red grosgrain ribbon to mimic the paper pattern.
And finally…for my 3rd card with the set I wanted to show off the fun holly berry image I illustrated. I started once again with some white card stock and stamped the focal image with some SU Basic Black ink & colored with Copic markers.
Adhered it all to a new leaf base card stock (PTI) and added the sentiment along with some super cute raspberry pearls. I then tied a fun raspberry bow ($1 bin ribbon at Michael’s!) and adorned it with the holly image also colored in Copic markers with some twine.
So there you have it! And there will be much more fun from the “RetroGirly” line at Wplus9 Design…so stay tuned to future releases!!! And make sure to check out Dawn’s blog, Jinny’s Blog, and Elise’s Blog for more fun projects. Join me back here tomorrow where we will be showcasing the FABULOUS tags that Hannah designed! Love it! Stay classy blogland!!!
