December Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Hope you ya’ll are stuffed to the brim with Turkey and anxiously awaiting Wplus9 Design’s December Release Sneak Peeks!! Today I bring you the AWESOME sneak peek of the “So 80’s” stamp set – that the fabulous Dawn illustrated. Can you say *TOTALLY 80’s* – I am swooning over this set and having so much fun with it. In case you’ve missed it…the 80’s are totally making a comeback…who knew!?!?

For my first card I tried to stay with a manly theme…going to a friend’s boyfriend’s birthday celebration this evening and knew this set was perfect for the shindig…
Started off with some black (Papertrey Ink) card stock for my base. I used some Canary yellow Colorbox pigment ink to stamp the super cool digital background onto a white card stock cut out. To really make the color combo stand out I added some designer paper from my stash I got at Michael’s…and it goes flawlessly with the color combo I picked out! Then I added some PTI Terracotta Tile Ink to the awesome “Kick Ass” sentiment and glued it all together.

I didn’t want to get to frilly with the details since this card is for a guy. But I did add some Glossy Accents to the sentiment to give it a POP! What do you think? Make sure to check out Dawn’s Blog for more sneak peeks…and check back tomorrow for the reveal of the beautiful second set debuting this month!
Also check out what the rest of the fabulous Wplus9 Design team ladies came up with this totally rockin stamp set!!
