All Eyes On…Envelopes!

This month Wplus9’s All Eyes On is on…Envelopes! How much fun… as if I didn’t love card making enough already…now I get all crafty with the envelopes too. One of my favorite Christmas gifts was definitely my Martha Stewart Scoreboard! It is phenomenal at making just about any size envelope and scoring all kinds of fun crafts.

The board is large enough to score a 12X12 sheet of paper. It also comes with a scoring tool, and a triangle scoring tool for additional projects – So much fun! And so simple!

For this project I wanted to make a corresponding envelope for my best friend’s birthday card. I started with some polka dot paper and scored it to an average card envelope size with the score board. I added some ribbon while adhering the envelope together. Topped it off with some 3-D letters to personalize her name and one little butterfly fluttering along.
The card was made using The Birds & The Bees stamp set from Wplus9. The sentiment is perfect for my bestie – she really is my rock in tough times and always makes days brighter & life sweeter!! Love you T!! 🙂 And of course I had to use her favorite color…purple! I really don’t bust out the purple much but I love it mixed with green…
Make sure to check out the rest of the Wplus9 Design Team’s projects using envelopes – they always blow me away when they get their craft on!
