Day 2 of Flora & Fauna

Tweet…tweet…welcome back to day 2 of the Wplus9 Design February Release Sneak Peeks!! EEEKK look at this lovely little cardinal! Can you say gorgeous?!? Man…Dawn is just out of control with her fabulous illustration skills chicakdees!!

When I think of cardinals I forget about all the cold winter days and look forward to seeing these red beauties flying around. We actually have quite a few of them in FL and it’s always a treat to see one fluttering along.

I started this card with a brown base of card stock and knew I wanted to stamp this beauty on some craft to keep it “rustic.”

I then took the little guy and colored him in with some Copic Markers. My skills are still budding but these stamps make it a BREEZE to effortlsly color some fun! Added a sentiment from another set releasing this month (Shhhh) and trimmed the bottom of the card with some fabric tape in brown and white gingham.

To finish off the earthy card I added some yellow buttons and compliments of brown and white bakers twine and of course a little black jewel for the little birdy’s eye!

    Dear, ME! KERRIANNE – it looks remarkable around here, my darlin'. GREAT, great, GREAT job with this FABULOUS new set! {Aren't we all just LOVIN' it – I swear!} This card is multi levels of fabulous! Yipeeee!
