wPlus9 Color Cue {12}

Hello darlings! Welcome to yet another FABULOUS Color Cue by the talented Dawn over at wPlus9 Design! This month’s colors are gorgeous and I had a blast coming up with this lil doll…Spring is right around the corner and this color combo is sure to get you “in the mood.”

I started with some Kraft card stock (Papertrey Ink) and white embossed the beautiful flowers from Flora & Fauna I. I then used some Lavender ink and a sponge to rub the color into the flowers. This is such a fun and easy technique…and it really makes the flowers have a watercolor feel to them.

I stamped the sentiments from Spring Post with the Lavender and Teal inks all over the card stock base to give it a funky feel with the sentiments all over the place…but strategically placed the bottom saying. This would be a great card for a wedding or special occasion – where a touch of fanciness is just right!

I’m loving that sparkly button I found in my Papertrey Ink Bahama Breeze button collection…So fun & fancy! And of course some white seam binding makes the bow centerpiece POP!

I always feel so honored to work along side such fabulous crafters…make sure you check out what the rest of the wPlus9 Design team has in store for you for this color cue!
