This is super easy and fun technique. And if you are like me…a stamp happy type of girl it can really be a blast! Here is my card featuring LOTS of repetition.
I started by cutting some Kraft card stock to a cute lil square card as my base. Then I got stamp crazy with the Background Builders: Hearts stamp set. I used some magenta and yellow ink to create a fun and retro color theme. {Colorbox pigment yellow ink to really make the yellow stand out on the Kraft paper} Lots of layering of multiple stamps and alternating stamping all over the page makes for a fun pattern with the hearts.
I then cut out a small piece of Kraft for my focal point with the awesome owl lil guy from Funky Flowers. I inked the outside with some black ink to make it a subtle frame and finished it off with the “fabulous” sentiment from the same set. Fabulous is a pretty common word in my vocabulary…
Two little googly eyes and this little card is ready to cheer someone up! Perfect for my little sis who just had surgery and is recovering with flying colors! Hope you are having a great weekend everyone! And be sure to check out what the rest of the wPlus9 Design Team has going for their All Eyes On…
