Isn’t that divine! Such a beautiful and serene masculine card for sure. And how perfect…my Dad LOVES light houses…great card for his Birthday coming up next month! This card truly *Showcases* the Guiding Light Stamp Set from WPlus9.
This card was a breeze to make since I was so inspired by Paulina’s card. I used the WPlus9 Label Layers 1 die cut centered on a piece of Kraft card stock and recreated the gorgeous use of the Wood Grain Stamp from Woodgrain Silhouettes with some Close to Cocoa (Stampin Up!) ink for a soft transition. Then stamped the lighthouse and sentiments on some ivory card stock as the focal piece.
Wrapped some brown and white twine around the centerpiece and finished it off with a vintage brown button from my garage sale salvage stash. I had a scrap of that funky / rustic patterned paper so I used that to add some dimension before adhering it to the navy card stock base.
So fun! Make sure you check out what the rest of the WPlus9 Design team has rockin’…They never cease to AMAZE me!!!
This is so perfectly masculine!! I love how you've stamped the woodgrain at the bottom! Great job!!
Lovin' the two-tone color combo, Kerrianne! And the way you've used that die is absolutely perfect!
Fab card, Kerrianne! I'm sure your dad is going to LOVE this! Thanks so much for using my card as inspiration- you are so sweet! 🙂
Great color combination for a masculine card, I would not have thought of using the woodgrain stamp in the bottom with the plants above it but it really works.
just love your case, kerrianne!
WHOAH, Nellie! I smell me an ocean breeze and spy some exquisite stampy magic, Kerrianne! You are on FIYAAAAA! I'm afraid I'm going to have to cite you for "exquisite use of the stamp" – so consider this a warning. You are FAR too talneted! Yipeeeee!
This is gorgeous, Kerrianne, a great card for your Dad! I seriously need to get that Guiding Light set.
What a fab card! I am A HUGE FAN of ya'lls website now.. I put it on my blog as one of my fav's. Gorgeous work on here. I can't wait to see more!
