Girly Good Luck

This card was so much fun to make…I had two challenges I wanted to enter and this card was so inspired by both!

Here is my Entry:

First, over at CASE Study Challenge, Dawn from WPlus9 Designs is their featured Muse this month and I wanted to play along once again. You can view the original card here.

I followed the same sketch style with the patterns on top and bottom of a square based card. If you know me…you know I don’t do many *white* card bases, so this was fun and different. I knew I wanted to pull out my Damask Frames set for this and I love the elegant result! I also mirrored her scalloped edges through the center, but reversed it with a piece of pink card stock wrapped with white ribbon.

Also, over at The Play Date Cafe they have one of my favorite types of challenges going on, Color Splash!

So this card was inspired by that as well. I really wanted the soft pink to just POP a little out from the bold black and white.(and I’m guessing if that is shot glass or jello…I want one!!)

Make sure you play along with both challenges and check them out!

Supplies:
Stamps: WPlus9 Damask Frames, Hope Seed Co., & Spring Post
Card Stock: PTI

Hi Kerrianne šŸ™‚ Love that you chose such a soft accent colour against the boldness of the black. Thanks for playing along at the Play Date Cafe!
