I’m so honored to be featured by the fabulous Dawn of Wplus9 Design today. And I am super excited to share this sweet card. I was really inspired by the adorable sentiment featuring “True Blue” {{Loving the Retro Font style of course!}}

This card uses the brand spanking new set:

A Pocketful

6×8 set, containing 32 stamps; 4 pocket images, 11 accent images and 17 sentiments and sentiment builders

So fun! I just love the whole package that comes along with this set. You truly can do just about any occasion, and so many different styles.

When I think of a true blue friend – I think of that friend who’s there for you in thick and thin. I wanted to incorporate lots of shades of blues so I dug through some scraps of card stocks and patterned papers I had in my stash.

I distressed the denim pocket cut from the coordinating A Pocketful Designer Die with scissors around the edge and then stamped the *stitches* with white craft ink. (love anything that looks like sewing without the actual sewing part)

I kept the “feminine” softness, but wanted to add a touch of toughness as well with the distressed denim jeans. Kind of like that favorite pair of old jeans, always comfy and always there for you. Hope you are having a fabulous week, and thank you for stopping by!
