When I saw Embellish Magazine’s Color Combo & Chevron Challenge I knew I had to play along.
Chevron patterns are everywhere right now and so fun and funky!
I had a blast making this card for a co-worker who is recovering from surgery. I knew I wanted to do something fun and fresh, with a hint of girly-ness.
I started with some grey distressed card stock and stamped the Chevron pattern from Practicing Creativity’s “Retro Christmas Backgrounds” stamp set. I then stamped the sentiments from Wplus9’s “A Pocketful” on a punched circle of polka dot card stock. Of course I added some bling and embellishments for a final pop.
Hope you get a chance to play along as well over at Embellish Magazine. Toot-a-loo!
