Day 2 with WPlus9

Yes I am back with more of the latest yummy products from WPlus9! I have to say I’m pretty impressed that I’m still cranking out cards being 9 1/2 months pregnant. It’s really not so bad other than the swelling and lack of sleep from being uncomfortable. Maybe the delerious-ness is making me even more creative! ūüôā

When I saw these adorable banner stamps from Basic Banners I knew I wanted to keep it simple. Then of course I fell in LOVE with the anchor die cut from Nautical Notions Die.

day2-1-1

As an alumni of Delta Gamma sorority, we are kind of obsessed with anchors. For the sorority they represent “Hope” and are such a fun symbol. I love how the patterned paper really makes the anchor pop with a little bit of twine.

day2-1-2

And speaking of “Thanks” my little sister in the sorority was sweet enough to send a care package for baby Betty of darling “anchor” themed clothes! I can’t wait to see our little girl represent for Delta Gamma!

Next up something even a bit more nautical, but featuring the fabulous Monogrammed stamp set.

day2-2-1

Kraft goes beauitfully with the navy blue color of Nautical Navy Cardstock.¬†I love the background on this card, even though the photograph doesn’t do it justice. I used Dockside Backgrounds¬†with some gold embossing powder to create a pattern of little anchors and diamonds.¬†

day2-2-2

You’ll see more of the¬†Nautical Notions Die¬†as well on this card. I used the life preserver as a frame for one of the die cuts from¬†Clear Cut Stackers: Circles.¬†And of course the gorgeous sailboat die cut as well.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for even more “nautical” themed cards. I even feature some crabs…which I’m obsessed with those little critters right now!
