Fresh Squeezed

That’s right…when it’s hot outside there is nothing more refreshing than some fresh squeezed lemonade! And WPlus9’s Milk & Cookies stamp set does not disappoint!

How fun are those colors…and the Ikat border…I can’t get enough…seriously! This card was super simple thanks to the gorgeous stamps from Milk & Cookies and Borders & Backgrounds 1.

My cravings with baby girl have definitely been on the sweeter side…and milk & cookies is one of my favorite treats! This card shows my love affair with the duo lately.

Milk & Cookies really are “better together” and this stamp set is just so much fun. I LOVE the little milk carafe and accompanying straw.

Black and white with some Cupid’s Bow ink to add a romantic touch.

I hope your making the most of this summer fun and get your tail over to WPlus9 and order these beauties up! Check back tomorrow for one more day of goodies from the June / July WPlus9 Release!

Fresh Cut Florals

Hope you’ve had a wonderful 4th of July! Summer is definitely in full swing around here with temps in the 90’s daily! I’m so excited I {finally} get to share with you some projects from the June / July Release of WPlus9’s fabulous products.

First up…Fresh Cut Florals

onYourSpecialDay

These stamps are not only divine…they are so fun to layer! They truly create a “watercolor” style that you really don’t see with many stamps on the market today.

And they even have coordinating die cuts! Here is another card that showcases the roses stamp & die cut leaves:

I’ve also used the adorable sentiment from Strictly Sentiments 2.

And one more to share…can you tell I just love these florals?

thankyou

Update

Where’s Kerrianne and her cards? In case you are wondering why this poor little blog has been so light on content lately, I’ve been busy “crafting” away a little one in my tummy. I am almost to the 3rd trimester (2 weeks to go) and I seriously can’t believe how fast this year is flying by. To sit back and realize it will be June in a week blows my mind.

Before Baby Bowen, I was able to juggle a very demanding full time job, 2 step kids, and a blog with crafty cards. Unfortunately, with work getting even crazier, and pregnancy taking the energy out of me…you see where we have ended up. I hope you will still follow along with me when I do get to post, and I really do want to make it more of a priority!

I’ve actually found humor in some of the delirious times so hopefully I can share more of that with you in the future. I will still be playing along with WPlus9’s beautiful releases and hope to get some time this summer to play along with more challenges. I hope this finds you well…and know that I still use my lunch break to scope out all of the beautiful blogs out there. (due to the crazy firewalls at work I can’t comment on them though!)

25weeks

In baby updates our little girl is growing fast and I can’t believe we only have 3 months to go! I feel her more and more every day and can’t wait to meet her. We’ve decided on a name and I’m in love with it already. June 29th we will be doing maternity photos and I can’t wait!

Friday Fun

I know I probably say this a ton…but I am SO happy it’s Friday. It’s been a tough week. I didn’t even have time to make any Mother’s Day Cards this year. {tsk tsk}

Just wanted to wish you and yours a wonderful Mother’s day weekend. And share this adorable card my Father sent me for my “first” Mother’s Day 🙂

10 Min Craft Dash & WPlus9

Well it’s officially May. Can you believe it?!? I know I can’t. This year is seriously flying by.

Today I am super excited to share that WPlus9 is sponsoring the latest 10 min Craft Dash over at Pretty Pink Posh! Not only do you get to play along with these gorgeous colors from Paulina:

But you also have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to WPlu9! Woop Woop!

Here is my take on the challenge:

I have to admit…this was my second attempt at the challenge. The first one was just not cutting it. I think the “practice card” was worth it though because I love the way this card bloomed into a finished piece. And I was almost under a whole minute this time! That 10 minutes is tough!

With a kraft base I used a strip of patterned card stock and stamped the beautiful flowers from Blanket Stitched Blooms in alternating pink & aqua and adhered it to the base. I then used a kraft tag I had in my stash to stamp the sentiment and tied it on with some twine. To finish it off two crochet flowers and a pearl to boot.

Hope you have chance to play along! And be sure to stop by Dawn’s & Paulina’s blogs to learn more!

One More Day of WPlus9

Today is the last day I get to share with you the latest release from WPlus9. I saved the best for last…my favorite set from this release is definitely Fresh Baked!

How adorable are those stamps? And I LOVE the little utensils stamps that makes such a cute border. This card was super simple and the color combo was inspired by a “citrus” theme. It turned out so vintage and reminds me of a Brady Bunch kitchen 🙂

Make sure to stop by Dawn’s Blog for more, and to keep checking back for more from the rest of the WPlus9 Design Team. Have a great weekend!

Day 2 More New Goodies from WPlus9

There are so many awesome new products in the latest release from WPlus9, just one day is not enough!

First up a card featuring the gorgeous Blanket Stitched Blooms and coordinating die cut. I am in LOVE with this set. I love the “stitched” feel of the stamps, they are so fun & funky! Totally different than any stamp set I’ve seen out there of it’s kind.

IMG_5573

The way the stamps are layered it almost gives a “colored in” feel as well. I wanted to really show of the stitching so I created a strip of the stamps using WPlus9 White Pigment Ink. Then stamped the images with black, pink, and green on the die cut pieces. Finished it off with the “Just a Note” sentiment and some jewels.

Next up a baby card featuring the Pretty Patches Umbrella set and matching die cut.

IMG_5576

With a green card base with some polka dot patterned paper as the base, I used the awesome Folk Art Alphabet Die to cut the letters out. These are going to be a staple for sure in my stash. I love how they are the perfect size for cards!

That’s all for today…check back tomorrow for two more cards featuring the fabulous Fresh Baked stamp set & coordinating die cuts!

WPlus9 April / May Release Projects

So it’s been waaay too long since I got to play with some new WPlus9 goodies. Between a house move, a baby on the way, and an insane workload at my day job…I was long overdue for some stamping fun! This release is just out of this world incredible! It’s packed with all kinds of my favorite goodies, including the beautiful Paisley Patterns stamp set.

IMG_5565

My first card with the set shows some of the different sizes and options this set comes with. You really can make the most gorgeous patterns with these stamps. I used two tags from Timeless Tags 2 Die as bases to stamp some more of the images and the sentiment. The sentiment is from the newest sentiment set designed by Dawn, Strictly Sentiments 1. I then finished it off with some jewels and washi tape along the edge of the tag. I love this color combo, it channels one of my favorite designers, Lilly Pulitzer, who sadly passed away this week. I hope they continue to make her bright and beautiful patterns!

Next up…some aqua & green…and more Paisley!

kgb_april_02

This card features more of Paisley Patterns, this time I used the layered stamps to create my own paisley color pattern. You truly can make these designs so original…I just love it. For the sentiment I used the fabulous new Embroidered Bouquet Additions. I love how it coordinates so seamlessly with the sentiment from the original set. The stamps & sentiment are so bold that I decided to keep the rest of the card simple. A little twine & a little birdie finish it off.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my first day of revealing some of the fun I’ve had with these stamps! Be sure to check back tomorrow for some more fun. And don’t forget to stop by WPlus9.com and pick up your favorite new stamps today!
