I created this card for a family member who sent us a gorgeous “Key West” inspired wedding gift. What do you think?
I needed at least three “Thank You’s” since it was such a heartfelt gift 🙂 I love the color combo inspired by Just Us Girls Photo Inspiration. Beachy, yet still chic.
And I just can’t get enough of aqua lately…baby’s room color perhaps?? Hope you are having a fabulous week! Ours is jam packed and hectic but we finally get to move to a larger home…so let the “nesting” begin!

Yay! My favorite day of Release time is finally here! Today Dawn showcases all of the Design Team members and I always save my favorite project for last. So how about some “Pinsperation” while were at it! Here is my card:
I came across this gorgeous photo on Pinterest and knew I wanted to play with the “ombre” look that is so popular right now. I featured the stamps from Embroidered Bouquet in chalk inks down a strip of white card stock. Then added some bling to finish it off.
So that’s where the color combo and theme came from. I really love to get ideas from not only color cues…but even fashion! Hope you have enjoyed this release as much as I have. Just amazing products all around {{as always}} and I can’t wait to play with them even more!

One more day till the full reveal of of all the latest goodies from WPlus9! Today we get to share with you Written On Ribbon and the Written On Ribbon Companion Die. I am a HUGE fan of banners, ribbons and sentiments. So this set is right up my alley!
This card started with yellow card base and some fun french patterned paper. I wanted to make the banner stamp and sentiments the focal piece of this card so I kept with the yellow and black color theme. A paper flower and some twine finished it off.

My card today features Lacey Layers & Companion Die Cuts:
One combo I’ve fallen in love with lately is kraft & white ink (and especially WPlus9 Ink!). It’s just such a fun way to show off these lace stamps! This card features a couple of the fun stamps and die cuts.
I started with a kraft base and then added layer upon layer of lace and the faux buttons. They are super easy to create with the die cuts and stamps and a small hole punch. Topped it off with some aqua ribbon and button, along with some girly pink roses. The sentiment is from yesterday’s set Very Vintage Florals.

That’s right…it’s that time again! Time for the WPlus9 Design Team to give Sneak Peeks of this month’s release. Let me just warn you…you are in for a roller coaster of lovely fun! I got a little crazy with my cards this release. I really wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and try some new color combinations.
Well this card started out with some “rust” tones and when the project was finished I was amazed how much it looks like a henna tattoo! I’m in LOVE with these lace designs Dawn illustrated for Chantilly Trim. So vintage too are the sentiment fonts from Very Vintage Florals. All the coordinating dies and stamps will be revealed in a few days…but for now you can check out what the rest of the WPlus9 Design Team has for today:

Here is a fun little card with a fabulous sentiment and a cute little typewriter. I made it as a thank you card for a friend that’s wonderful writer! We get to collaborate quite often at work…and even come up with fun book titles we plan to write one day 🙂

All this card took was a mismatch of pieces from a scrapbook kit, some pearls, and of course the super cute sentiment from WPlus9’s “Quite Like You” stamp set.
I have to admit. I think I’ve lost some of my crafty “mojo” the last couple of weeks. There has been SO much going on in my life lately, along with some physical things as well, it truly has been hard to find my creative spirit. I thought after the wedding I would get a nice little “break” and slowly get back to reality. Unfortunately, that was a dream. Life had different plans!
I thought I had lost all hope till I came across these fun patterned papers from my stash (Stampin’ Up!). It’s amazing how products can be so inspiring. I think that’s going to be my resolution for 2013 in my card making world. Work with products that don’t make it work! If I had all the time in the world I would love to create my own details, but unfortunately I don’t right now (and probably won’t ever!). I hope to find many more products to “inspire” me and keep me going on this crazy road ahead!

The sketch is just so fun!
And I just love the how the bright turquoise base makes the sentiment stand out so well. I drew my colors from the papers and the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger. (doesn’t that bed look so cozy!)
