Fresh Cut Florals

Hope you’ve had a wonderful 4th of July! Summer is definitely in full swing around here with temps in the 90’s daily! I’m so excited I {finally} get to share with you some projects from the June / July Release of WPlus9’s fabulous products.

First up…Fresh Cut Florals

onYourSpecialDay

These stamps are not only divine…they are so fun to layer! They truly create a “watercolor” style that you really don’t see with many stamps on the market today.

And they even have coordinating die cuts! Here is another card that showcases the roses stamp & die cut leaves:

I’ve also used the adorable sentiment from Strictly Sentiments 2.

And one more to share…can you tell I just love these florals?

thankyou

10 Min Craft Dash & WPlus9

Well it’s officially May. Can you believe it?!? I know I can’t. This year is seriously flying by.

Here is my take on the challenge:

I have to admit…this was my second attempt at the challenge. The first one was just not cutting it. I think the “practice card” was worth it though because I love the way this card bloomed into a finished piece. And I was almost under a whole minute this time! That 10 minutes is tough!

With a kraft base I used a strip of patterned card stock and stamped the beautiful flowers from Blanket Stitched Blooms in alternating pink & aqua and adhered it to the base. I then used a kraft tag I had in my stash to stamp the sentiment and tied it on with some twine. To finish it off two crochet flowers and a pearl to boot.

Hope you have chance to play along! And be sure to stop by Dawn’s & Paulina’s blogs to learn more!

Day 2 More New Goodies from WPlus9

There are so many awesome new products in the latest release from WPlus9, just one day is not enough!

First up a card featuring the gorgeous Blanket Stitched Blooms and coordinating die cut. I am in LOVE with this set. I love the “stitched” feel of the stamps, they are so fun & funky! Totally different than any stamp set I’ve seen out there of it’s kind.

The way the stamps are layered it almost gives a “colored in” feel as well. I wanted to really show of the stitching so I created a strip of the stamps using WPlus9 White Pigment Ink. Then stamped the images with black, pink, and green on the die cut pieces. Finished it off with the “Just a Note” sentiment and some jewels.

Next up a baby card featuring the Pretty Patches Umbrella set and matching die cut.

With a green card base with some polka dot patterned paper as the base, I used the awesome Folk Art Alphabet Die to cut the letters out. These are going to be a staple for sure in my stash. I love how they are the perfect size for cards!

That’s all for today…check back tomorrow for two more cards featuring the fabulous Fresh Baked stamp set & coordinating die cuts!

Beachy Thank You

I created this card for a family member who sent us a gorgeous “Key West” inspired wedding gift. What do you think?

I needed at least three “Thank You’s” since it was such a heartfelt gift 🙂 I love the color combo inspired by Just Us Girls Photo Inspiration. Beachy, yet still chic.

And I just can’t get enough of aqua lately…baby’s room color perhaps?? Hope you are having a fabulous week! Ours is jam packed and hectic but we finally get to move to a larger home…so let the “nesting” begin!

WPLUS9 FEB/MARCH RELEASE DAY 3

One more day till the full reveal of of all the latest goodies from WPlus9! Today we get to share with you Written On Ribbon and the Written On Ribbon Companion Die. I am a HUGE fan of banners, ribbons and sentiments. So this set is right up my alley!

IMG_5398

This card started with yellow card base and some fun french patterned paper. I wanted to make the banner stamp and sentiments the focal piece of this card so I kept with the yellow and black color theme. A paper flower and some twine finished it off.

There are so many awesome sentiments in the stamp set you could literally use them for just about any occasion! Make sure you stop by each member of the Design Team blogs’ for more:

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! We had a blast tonight throwing my mom a surprise party for her 60th Birthday…it turned out so awesome! More on that later!

WPlus9 Feb/March Release Day 2

So were you as blown away by Day 1 as I was? I mean…just GORGEOUS projects all over the place! Glad you are back for Day 2 with WPlus9. Today we are introducing Lacey Layers, Lacey Layers Companion Die and Embroidered Bouquet.

My card today features Lacey Layers & Companion Die Cuts:

One combo I’ve fallen in love with lately is kraft & white ink (and especially WPlus9 Ink!). It’s just such a fun way to show off these lace stamps! This card features a couple of the fun stamps and die cuts.

I started with a kraft base and then added layer upon layer of lace and the faux buttons. They are super easy to create with the die cuts and stamps and a small hole punch. Topped it off with some aqua ribbon and button, along with some girly pink roses. The sentiment is from yesterday’s set Very Vintage Florals.

Just my Type

Here is a fun little card with a fabulous sentiment and a cute little typewriter. I made it as a thank you card for a friend that’s wonderful writer! We get to collaborate quite often at work…and even come up with fun book titles we plan to write one day 🙂

This card is an entry for:

Just Add Ink #150

JUGS #173

All this card took was a mismatch of pieces from a scrapbook kit, some pearls, and of course the super cute sentiment from WPlus9’s “Quite Like You” stamp set.

Happy Bosses’ Day!

Well happy Tuesday to you…and Happy Bosses’ Day as well! I got a little crafty this weekend with more of the awesome scraps from the Simple Stories scrapbook kit and made not one…but TWO boss cards.

I have the most AMAZING boss and I’m so blessed to have him. He is truly a great person and so wonderful to work for. {{and I’ve had some tough ones!}}

Also my bosses’s boss is pretty wonderful too! So I went ahead and made her a card as well. I love those little banner stickers.

Of course we had the whole team sign it as well. I’ve become the “card lady” around the office and they were even so sweet to put together a “fund” for my supplies / time. I’m such a lucky lady!

Hope you are having a wonderful week! We are on the countdown for the weekend getaway for my bachelorette in Savannah and I seriously can’t wait! I am just so excited it’s crazy!!

Bubblegum, Tangerine, & Pear

Happy Monday! Hope your day is starting off not as crazy as mine…but that seems to be the story of my life lately! I did have some time this weekend to get my “craft on” – and played along with The Play Date Cafe’s Challenge #153.

Aren’t those colors just divine! I knew I wanted to use them to make one of my good friend’s daughter’s birthday card. She’s about as “girly” as they get so this color combo was perfect!

This card has lot’s of layers going on with vintage lace & punched borders. I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from RetroGirly Birthday from WPlus9. Hope you get a chance to play along as well! Have a great week!
