This card was inspired by CASE Study Challenge #88 featuring a beautiful card by Laurie Schmidlin. I was instantly drawn to the soft colors of her pieces & knew I wanted to create a card similarly, but with not as much depth since it has to be mailed. Sympathy cards are probably the most difficult cards to truly express your feelings. But I think this card conveys a relaxing, rustic vibe that feels like a big warm hug 🙂
